We get a chance today to make up for Nemo and our canceled shows last weekend. This afternoon we’re doing a live set and an interview on the Berklee Internet Radio Network. Then tonight we’re celebrating Mardi Gras up at Duke’s Pub & Grille in Tyngsborough. Come on out and party with us if you’re in the area!
I hate Nemo. He’s officially ruined our Mardi Gras weekend, as our show tonight at Moog’s Place has been canceled. We’re all still shoveling out our cars and there’s no way we’ll get up to VT in time.
We’ll try again on Tuesday, Fat Tuesday, when we’re slated to play at Sugarbush. Hopefully the roads will be clear by then. Argh!!!
Because of the storm, our shows tonight at Mari’s Place in Quincy, and tomorrow afternoon at Sugarbush Ski Resort, unfortunately have been canceled.
We’re still hoping to get on the road tomorrow in time for our show at Moog’s Place in Morrisville, VT. We’ll post another update here tomorrow afternoon on that.
We hope you’re all safe and warm inside!
We’ve got two shows this weekend that we’re excited about. Tonight (Thursday) we’re at the Back Page in Lowell. A very cool spot we played last month, and we’re looking forward to returning. Tomorrow night (Friday) we make our debut at Alba, a new restaurant in Quincy. It looks like a beautiful venue. We hope you can come out and join us for one of the shows!
We’re back at Metropolis Wine Bar in Brattleboro, VT tonight. It’s one of our favorite spots to play in all of New England: a great vibe, friendly people, and excellent drinks. We hope you can join us if you’re in the area.
This is our last show of 2012. It’s been a fantastic year for us–we’ve hit the road harder than ever before and brought our crazy music to the masses all over the Northeast. We’ll keep at it in 2013 and also get to work on a new album. Thank you for your support and companionship on the journey! Happy new year!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We hope you all had a great holiday. What better way to take a break from our usual schedules than spending time with family and friends and reflecting on what is most important to us. We’re certainly grateful to all of our fans for supporting us on our musical journey. We couldn’t do it without you.
We’re looking forward to playing live again this Thursday at the Back Page in Lowell. We’ve heard great things about this venue and we’re excited to check it out. We hope you can come out and say hi if you’re in the area.
We return to Fody’s Tavern in Nashua, NH tonight (Friday). We had a great time playing there back in the spring, and we’re excited to be a part of their award-winning live music line-up again.
On Sunday afternoon we’re back at the Peabody Street Park Concert Series in Salem, MA. We performed there in June when the weather was a little warmer. But Sunday’s forecast is looking good (sunny, mid-70′s), and hopefully Mamadou will sit in with us again!
We’d love to see you out at one of the shows!
After 40+ shows this summer, we’re finally winding things down this weekend before we take a few weeks off. We return to The Pub at Cape Ann Brewing in Gloucester tonight (Friday). On Saturday we head down to the Hartford, CT area, where we’ll play a double bill with Luli and the Innocents at The Main Pub. They’re a great, female-fronted rock band and we’re excited to share the stage with them.
It’s been a great summer, and we’ve been lucky to travel to some new places, make new friends, and still keep in touch with our regular venues and fans. We’ll return to action in mid-September!
We’ve got two free outdoor shows on tap this weekend, plus a return to one of our favorite venues in Gardner. Tonight (Thursday) we play for the Tyler Park Music Series in Lowell. On Friday we hit Boston Greenfest at City Hall Plaza, and on Saturday we’re back at the Gardner Ale House. Should be a great weekend, and we hope to see you out at one of the shows!
Back on the road this weekend. We return to Metropolis Wine Bar in Brattleboro, VT tonight (Friday), one of our favorite spots. Then on Saturday we head out to Great Barrington, MA and the Gypsy Joynt. They have a lot of great musicians play there and we’re excited to be a part of their line-up.
Come on out and say hi if you’re in the area.
Wendy unfortunately has been sick all week. She’s on the mend now but not ready to perform yet. So Gumbo Diablo will not be playing tonight (Friday) at Main Streets in Concord. Instead, Ken will be joining Radio Mambo playing live Latin mambo, cumbias, flamenco, reggea son, and Caribbean beats.
Tomorrow night (Saturday) we’ll play as a trio without Wendy at Deja Brew in Wendell.
Thanks for all of your support. We expect to be back at full strength next week.
We’re heading up to Vermont today for a weekend of shows in the Green Mountain State. Today (Thursday) we’ll be playing in Burlington at the Summervale Series in the afternoon, and then we’ll head over to the 1/2 Lounge for an evening set. On Friday we hit Moog’s Place in Morrisville, and then on Saturday we’ll play at The Purple Moon Pub in Waitsfield. We hope our Vermont fans will be able to come out to a show and say hi!
We’re excited to be returning to the Back Room at the Mill this Saturday in Bristol, NH. It’s a great venue with a friendly staff and some of the best desserts in New England. There aren’t many places where you can hear live music and get double chocolate fudge ice cream at the same time–but you can here! We hope you can check it out.
We’re playing up in Lowell tonight at the Heritage Farm Summer Concert Series. It’s a free outdoor show, and it’s right across the way from Heritage Farm Ice Cream, so we’re not really sure what else we could do to entice you to come! It should be a fun night, so we hope you can make it.
Our weekly residency at the Red Parrot in Hull continues tonight (Thursday). The weather is looking great so it should be another beautiful night on the upper deck.
On Saturday we head down to Bridgeport, CT for a show at Two Boots. We’re excited to check out this busy music venue / pizzeria.
Hope you can join us!
Because of the Celtics game and the not-quite-summer weather, our show tonight at the Red Parrot in Hull has been canceled. Not to fear, though, we’ll be back there next Thursday, and just about every Thursday after that this summer. We had a blast there last week, and the view from the upper deck is just beautiful. We really hope you can join us there sometime in the next couple of months.
Tomorrow night (Friday) we head north to Portland, ME. We’ll be playing at a new venue for us, Andy’s Old Port Pub. We’re excited to check it out and to play Portland again. If you’re in the area, come on out and say hi.
We return to the Gardner Ale House tomorrow night (Saturday) for more fun and beer. It’s amazing how often those two go together. We’ve played there a few times this year already, and it’s always been a blast. We’re looking forward to another great time.
We begin our summer residency tomorrow night at the Red Parrot in Hull. It’s a beautiful spot, literally right across the street from the ocean. If the weather cooperates, we’ll play on the upstairs deck. If not, we’ll be downstairs in the bar. Just about every Thursday night this summer. Hope you can join us at some point to enjoy the beautiful view.
